Dear mama & daddy Simpson,
Today I played in the woods alot. Mama Gore thinks it's because it's shady in there and cooler. But I do love going straight into the woods when she takes me out to pee and play. Sometimes when she's calling me to come in, I just peek my head out the bushes and stare at her. She says "no! Tica. Come!" like she doesn't think it's cute. Little does she know I heard her saying later that I looked like E.T. among all the stuffed animals in the movie. So I know she thinks I'm cute! She also said I'm too smart for my britches, which I took as a compliment!
In sad news, this morning I got my first "discipline" since I've been. I was eating Miles' food, and when he tried to join me in the feast, I tried to tear his head off in return. I haven't done that again though. My new mom "took me to the wood shed" so to speak. So I'm assuming that's not a good thing to do... dog-cussing the cat like that.
Anyway, it is starting to storm here, so I am about to snuggle in on my spot on the big bed and watch the rain out the window. I think I'll snooze the afternoon away too, so that I'll be fresh as a daisy when I wake my new mommy up for our midnight game outside.
I hope you guys are doing OK. We were all stoked to catch you on Facebook yesterday, btw!!
All my puppy love...
Tica

Ah, Tica, you know that those theatrics are really not going to be cute pretty soon here. Especially your favorite new trick! You know what they say about the puppy who cried wolf, don't you. And by the way, I'm sure that your new mama hasn't called you any name that you haven't heard before... at least in reference to Rascal. And be nice to Miles, for goodness sake! What did he ever do to you? Stinker. You'll make good friends with that ol' woodshed if you don't shape up! I'm glad that you are happy. Keep snuggling and keep that booty wagging!
